AI hiring tools are doing what biased human recruiters always did, just faster and at scale — systematically rejecting Black and Asian job seekers at higher rates. Nothing says 'innovation' like automating racial discrimination and calling it an algorithm. At least the old-fashioned way required someone to feel guilty about it.
