Amazon, the company that built its empire selling books, is now destroying rare and irreplaceable texts to feed its AI training machine. Because apparently the entire internet wasn't enough data to plagiarize, so now they're going after physical books that can't be found anywhere else. Nothing says 'customer obsession' like pulping cultural heritage for a chatbot.
