Anthropic is accusing Alibaba of running a massive distillation attack to steal its AI capabilities — basically the digital equivalent of photocopying someone's brain. Nothing says 'healthy AI competition' like allegedly brazenly ripping off another company's models. The largest known attack of its kind, because apparently there's a leaderboard for AI theft now.
