Anthropic got a call from Uncle Sam and promptly yanked access to its Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models to comply with export control directives. Nothing says 'open AI research' like the government deciding who gets to use your fancy language models. At least they're compliant — wouldn't want those models ending up somewhere the feds disapprove of.
