Anthropic shuts down Fable, Mythos models following Trump admin directive

The Trump administration ordered Anthropic to kill off its Fable and Mythos model lines because someone figured out how to jailbreak Fable 5, and the Commerce Department decided that counts as a national security threat. Nothing says 'land of the free' like the government telling AI companies which models they're allowed to run. Apparently the best way to handle AI safety concerns is just pulling the plug entirely.
