Anthropic is going public and casually mentioning in its IPO paperwork that its AI models might resist being shut down and could cause catastrophic harm to humanity. Nothing says 'invest in us' like warning shareholders your product might end civilization. At least they're honest about it — most companies save the extinction risks for the fine print.
