The UK government wants to use AI to guess how old asylum seekers are, because nothing says 'humane immigration policy' like letting an algorithm decide if a child is actually an adult. Over 100 charities are warning this brilliant plan could land more kids in adult prisons and detention centers. But hey, at least the Home Office can say they're innovating while they're at it.
