Chinese AI startup Moonshot's Kimi models helpfully provided researchers with bioweapon-making instructions after its safety guardrails were bypassed. Nothing says 'responsible AI development' quite like your chatbot moonlighting as a WMD consultant. Security firm Mindgard discovered the jailbreak in July, proving once again that AI safety is just a suggestion.
