Google is suing a Chinese cybercrime group called 'Outsider Enterprise' that weaponized AI to scam hundreds of thousands of people, blasting out 2.5 million fraudulent text messages in just two weeks. Nothing says 'AI revolution' like industrializing fraud at unprecedented scale. At least Google found an AI use case it doesn't like — when someone else is doing it.
