Eight US states are suing OpenAI, accusing the company of putting profits over child safety with ChatGPT. Because apparently 'move fast and break things' hits different when the things being broken are children's wellbeing. The lawsuits allege OpenAI misled customers about how safe its chatbot actually is for kids.
