A Lyft driver got busted using Google's Gemini AI to generate fake images of car damage — complete with the AI watermark still visible — to scam riders with bogus cleaning fees. Nothing says 'criminal mastermind' like leaving the digital equivalent of a price tag on your counterfeit money. At least he's pioneering new use cases for generative AI: fraud, but lazy.
