Meta's $2 billion AI acquisition Manus is running ads that are basically 'one weird trick to get rich with AI' — promising creators easy money by having AI slap together websites and cold-calling local businesses to sell them. Nothing says 'trustworthy tech giant' like running the digital equivalent of late-night infomercial schemes, now with more artificial intelligence and less actual intelligence.
