Meta's AI glasses had a neat little feature where users could just cover the recording indicator light and secretly film people — totally not creepy at all. The company finally got around to patching this so the glasses stop recording when the safety light is obscured. Nothing says 'we care about privacy' like shipping surveillance glasses and fixing the consent problem later.
