Microsoft had to nuke dozens of its own GitHub repos after hackers compromised their Azure and AI coding tools to steal developer passwords. Nothing says 'trust us with your AI infrastructure' like having your open source tools turned into password-harvesting machines. The company that wants to put Copilot in everything couldn't even keep its own repos safe.
