MyPillow CEO's lawyers fined for AI-hallucinated court citations

Attorneys representing MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell were fined $6,000 after submitting a legal brief containing nearly 30 defective citations, including entirely fabricated case law generated by AI. Federal Judge Nina Wang in Denver sanctioned both lawyers for violating court rules in the defamation case brought by former Dominion Voting Systems director Eric Coomer.
