The New York Times is suing Brave browser, calling it a 'supplier, dealer, and distributor' of stolen news content for helping AI firms feast on paywalled journalism. Apparently building a browser that strips paywalls AND cuts deals with AI companies to redistribute the content makes you a content trafficking middleman. NYT's legal team is collecting AI lawsuit frequent flyer miles at this point.
