Meta is plowing ahead with scraping EU and UK users' data to train its AI models, but at least they're graciously allowing people to file objections — how democratic. Nothing says 'we respect your privacy' like making users opt out of having their personal data fed into an AI training pipeline. The fact that you need to actively object rather than consent tells you everything about Meta's priorities.
