OpenAI decided to flood mathematicians with AI-generated proofs that apparently can't follow basic guidelines — because why respect the standards of a field that's been working fine for centuries? Turns out quantity of AI slop doesn't equal quality, and the math community is not impressed by proofs that don't actually prove things properly.
