The Pentagon blacklisted Anthropic as a 'supply chain risk' because the company had the audacity to keep safety guardrails on its AI tools. Apparently, refusing to make your AI more reckless for military use gets you banned faster than actually being a security threat. Nothing says 'responsible defense procurement' like punishing a company for being too responsible.
