Sony and UMG are suing AI music generator Suno again, claiming its shiny new v6 model is just copyright infringement with extra steps — trained on outputs from previous models that were themselves trained on music ripped from YouTube. Apparently laundering stolen data through one more layer of AI doesn't make it legal. Who knew?
