Thousands of Waymo robotaxis are being recalled after one of their driverless vehicles decided to go for a swim, driving straight into a flooded creek in San Antonio. The car was empty at the time, which is lucky because apparently the AI that can navigate city streets still hasn't learned what water looks like. Nothing says 'autonomous driving revolution' like a $100K robot car taking itself on an unplanned river adventure.
