Thousands of Waymo robotaxis are being recalled after one of their driverless cars decided to go for a swim, driving straight into a flooded creek in San Antonio. Apparently the car's AI couldn't figure out what every Texas driver learns on day one: turn around, don't drown. Nothing says 'autonomous intelligence' like needing a recall because your robot can't recognize water.
