Uber's self-driving partner Avride is now under federal investigation after racking up more than a dozen crashes and at least one injury. Because apparently the best way to test autonomous vehicles is to just let them loose on public roads and count the collisions. NHTSA finally decided that maybe a dozen crashes is worth looking into.
