Waymo issues recall to deal with a flooding problem

Waymo had to issue a recall because its robotaxis apparently couldn't figure out that driving through floods is a bad idea. Nothing says 'autonomous intelligence' like needing a software patch to avoid water. A 'final remedy' is coming — presumably teaching the cars that they're not submarines.
